Sorry to bump an old thread, but I'll be porting a number away from Ooma next year (kid's first phone), so just wanted to ask if anyone has any recent experience doing this? The above instructions are from 2020, do they still work?
Funny, after opening this thread I received an email from Ooma asking if I authorized the number port. So looks like the message was received from Public Mobile to Ooma -- stuff is happening!
