What Public Mobile plan do I need to be on if I buy an iPhone 11 elsewhere (BYOD)?

I was wondering if I could use an iPhone 11 on a $15 or $20 monthly plan with Public Mobile or if I am required to be on a more expensive plan. Also, how is the Public Mobile coverage around Canada?
