What happened to the monthly reward announcement

I see the reward in my account but there's no announcement.  I thought this is something to be celebrated.  Is this the new approach to stay silent?

I don't know if others received their rewards.  I got mine today.  I don't see any announcements.  Is rewards no longer worthy of celebration?
