Well good bye. After 11 years!

So I waited to see what would the reward system be like and it's just not good enough for me.   After 11 years I was paying 12$ (14.95 tx inc)  25 dollar plan.    I had brought so many people to public mobile.

Now my bill is  29$ (33.95 tax inc) for 10 gig Canada unlimited text.    Even with the redeemed voucher I get 6 bucks. So every 3 months 18 dollars.   It's not enough.

I will miss this community.  I read quite a few responses, figured out how to make the ring be longer.  I think 3 months I got rewarded for helping out and being in the top 10.

Public mobile is just too expensive for a gal like me that barely uses gigs on her phone.   There are other companies. Will use the last voucher  for one more month and it's off to a new company.  I hate change. Been with same internet company for more then 30 years.  But I guess sometimes I just don't feel like being xxxxxxxxxxxxx!!

So bye bye!

@funpig1 , you have a point about my greater presence in the community.  It's not hourly though.  I might be mistaken for others.  I digress.  With respect to plan selection, I actually don't make that many changes.  I was on the 2016 fall promo until early 2023.  Sometimes when you go to the store, you see nothing but red tags, sometimes only white tags.  You can't really go and complain to the floor staff that prices are too high.

@will13am

I think the reason you do not understand is that you are an oracle and you hang around here probably logging in every hour and you are constantly checking available plans and immediately taking advantage of any specials or promos.

OTH, many people sign up and stick with their plans for years on end. They only check what plans are available occasionally.  And currently, PM has made it frustratingly difficult for current subscribers to change to a cheaper and better plan, especially after the loss of the legacy rewards program. At this time, PM is trying to drive all of its current subscribers to more expensive plans which is not what many people, including @Nikita4ever , want.

@Nikita4ever , sorry to see you go.  I don't understand how you end up going from a $25 plan to a $29 plan.  Plan prices have generally come down.  I don't have nearly the amount of tenure, I was able to convert a $25/1GB account into a $19/3GB, effectively neutral on monthly costs after factoring in the loss of the legacy reward program.
