Yeah next thing you know the temperature is going to go above 0C here in Vancouver. Oh wait.. it’s 3C above right now! The apocalypse has begun.

it hasn’t been above 0 at any point in the day for what a week or 10 days? -18C below at one point over night.

Yes I would imagine that your condo fees are probably more than my rent....and yes the landlord's son is doing all of the kvetching over the replacement of the plumbing stack we just need it to unthaw for it to get fixed.

 @darlicious : lol really actually 🙂 . Nope. Big fancy snow blower, shovel, salt, shovel again, proper snow tires, chains, 4WD...all left behind at the prior place. (well...sold the 4WD). You spend a small fortune every month on condo fees but it sure is nice not doing the work.

Been there. Done that. Done with it. But still...boo hoo. It's winter in Canada. 🙂

Shouldn't your landlord be the one futzing with all your pipe woes?

Yes a bathroom apocalypse....one broken drain pipe, a frozen and cracked plumbing stack, only one useable half bath by the back door until at least mid week if we're lucky and two hours of back breaking shoveling of very heavy wet snow to get the sidewalk cleared today and a condo dwelling peanut gallery from the interior who probably doesn't even own a snow shovel!😜
