Port out

Hello,

I just want to make the community aware if anyone ever consider of switching from PM.

it's best to port out near the end of the billing cycle because PM will not give you the partial refund.

I recently ported out 2 days into my billing cycle and will be dinged for entire month. The moderator team would not do a **bleep** thing and will keep stating that it's part of their Service Terms.

I'm very disappointed that this is a legitimate business practice and they would hide it in their service terms (knowing most people do not read them).

Thank you

Well, I guess I know PM is a prepaid service. I just thought that I was signing up for a cellphone service with PM.

When I switched from Rogers to PM in the middle of the month last December, I received a partial refund not realizing it was prepaid or postpaid.

Thanks

Will ANY other pre-paid provider in Canada pro-rate/refund unused portions?

I don't believe so.

@azeem8 Annoying perhaps, but this IS the way pre-paid services function.
