What's with the new activations offering better plans in comparison for existing customers?

@MATTHEWS  You can always also ask support if you can get better plan . Sometimes they can help other hav confirmed getting the new activation only plans

@MATTHEWS  All carriers do it to try and bring in more customers and it’s also a good time to tell your friends to join with such great plan offerings and use your referral code to save them extra $10 . And sometimes with new activation plans . Existing customers can get them to by asking support

all mobile carriers are like this. 

You can check with PM agent and try to ask if they can give you the same plan,   please submit a ticket with CS Agent here:
       https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437  

But remember, that plan supposed to be for new activation, so agent might decline your request, although some reported they got it.
