Neither did I...... BUT, I did, however, say that neither the Habs, nor the Jets would likely beat Tampa.... Boston, Carolina, Islanders..... MAYBE..... Vegas, or Colorado.... probably not. 🤔

Well, admittedly, the last two times they won the Cup, I didn't have much faith that they could win it then either, but it IS the playoffs, and strange things can happen, BUT, OTOH, my "no faith" is based in the realization that they're so goal scoring challenged, whereas other teams aren't, and they need to play REALLY good defense, and get out-of-this-world goaltending to survive. The last two times they won, they had the goaltending, defense, AND goal scoring. Keeping Marner & Matthews from scoring is also a little different than keeping the entire goal scoring arsenal of Tampa from puttin' the biscuit in the basket.  Well, all of that, and I seriously believe that some of the Montreal media are correct, in that they no longer have enough French-Canadians playing on the team(last time they won, about half the team was from Quebec). 🤔

Honest, a team forcing a Game 7 in the first round usually won't go too far.

But deep inside me, I rather Canadiens.

Uhm.... no! 😠 They will, I'm sure, be a formidable foe..... that, and it likely doesn't matter much, since I think any team from the Canadian division would likely not make it past the next round anyway. 🤔

We need Ottawa to do better and get into the playoff. 

The only team we can win in the playoff is Ottawa Senator!!!  

Forget about the Cup, we just hope to see 1 playoff series win.   Was that too much?   It was 2004 last time we had one.

Too unpredictable...... the "isolated" season makes it even harder than normal to predict.

Anyone got any predictions for playoffs? I like TOR FLA COL LV to win cup, otherwise I like TOR and WPG to win first round as well as PIT BOS COL CAR FLA LV to all get to second round as well. Thinking and hoping for TOR and FLA in final round.

Saturday night Hockey Night in Canada on CBC, Calgary might be out of playoffs this year but they'll get better in time for next year - and they should be able to beat those oily olives tonight on CBC!
