do you mean home internet? The problem is that Telus hasn't established any home internet presecne that I am aware of (Im in Ontario) A lot of it, is rogers, bell, shaw and the "resellers". I just signed up with Virgin mobile for internet. $50 for unlimited internet. 25 download, 10 upload. Keep in mind Virgin uses Bells modem, its just "re-branded" as STEVE!.
I'm with a reseller who provides both DSL and Cable internet, and possibly fibre too. My prepaid is $62.50 after taxes for unlimited at 30/5 mbps. I like it. Will be glad to be a referal for anyone - one time bill credit of $25 for each referal 🙂
good values come from the re-sellers. Tech support and customer service may be an issue though (from stories that I've heard). Really the big selling points for internet are the
1) Speeds
2) Bandwidth
Type of connection might be a factor too: Cable, DSL, Fibre. All of them have their pros and cons
The chances of Home Internet from Telus in the east is likely zero to none.
How about LTE hub and way better pricing than the competion ? 🙂 It would need to be near the same pricing as wired providers (dsl, cable). I would go for that !!
if you want decent internet. I would suggest one of the resellers. They offer fairly decent prices for the speeds, just be warned customer support may be lacking a little with some of them. I would suggest staying away from Rogers or Bell, unless you can get a good deal from them. I saw bell having unlimited internet for under $70 for a promotoin. Of course the prices goes increases after one year (In Ontario) not sure what pricing is like elsewhere in Canada
