Hi guys

I think we should have pay per use. In existing plan, we can pay for our services. Not everyone can choose Add ons before they use the services. In my opinion, we should have pay per use if our account has balance. It will be more convenience for those people who don't need too many monthly services or occasionally usage. Thanks

All of our plans are prepaid. Thus, there will always be no balance left in our accounts. I don't think pay-per-use is realistic in this case, and I prefer the current add-on system since it avoids unwanted charges.

To be fair @homer the opposite is true for me, I always have a balance, I'm sure I have over $200 in my account at the moment. That being said, I can't support this idea, sorry 😞

Hi @homer

When I with Wind, sometimes I will make some international call that will cause extra charged. I always keep some balance in my account in case I need that. For example, if you run out all your data, and you have some balance in your account, you can still use your data if you have pay per use. Then you can buy a add-ons. Of course, if you want to avoid unwanted charges, you can always keep you balance zero. I just want to offer more options.

   Thank you.

Hi @Rockdaddy22

I guess I need to consider more detail to make this idea more attraction. Smiley Happy

We can develop a cost limit to avoid too much charged in your case. Thank you.

It's a great idea and I love people thinking of new things to try out. I just love the fact that there's never any surprise charges/overages.

Since the current addon options never expire you could just prepay for addons. I do not support the idea of pay per use overage charges.

It would be useful for many people and has been proposed several times. This is just not PM's strategy; their focus is clearly on unlimited calling, or moderate data usage, or the calling/texting/data combo.  It hasn't really changed since PM began business and Telus is continuing the theme.

The best minimalist true pay as you go, though without paygo data, is speakout7eleven.ca.

@Rockdaddy22 That's interesting. How did you do that??? Just top-up after clearing the payment of your bill?

@Jonavin You have the point 🙂

@nishufan I guess with pay-as-you-go, things become complicated, and users may have more questions about their bills. PM would have tried to avoid extra cost on answering additional questions, I guess.
