Notification for new post on forum.

Would be nice to have a notification for new posting on community forums like when we get notification after we reply to some post, would be nice to have a some sort notification option on setting if someone want to get notification for all new post. So people's know someone need a help right away 🙂

I feel like this won't be needed. There will always be someone logged into the community, who will be offering to help. Sending mass emails to every community member about a new post is really not needed

It will be a mess, and unorganised and spamming. The way it is now is fine.

@Luddite is there a way to see the topics with in order if most recent posts added.

I think i replied to a post the other day that was like a week old, but it didn't show up in latest topics. 

I think you at one time were discussing this issue but not sure if a solution ws found

Creating an RSS feed is the only current solution I have found. Alternatively you can subsribe to every new topic even if you do not post to it.

@Nsk143 you could have a look at a little tutorial I did a while back for subscribing to an area of the community via RSS: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Discussions/Brief-Guide-How-to-subscribe-to-a-communi....  If you were interested in say 3 areas (example:  announcements, phones & hardware, and getting started) you would add 3 RSS feeds into the RSS reader of your preference.
