I was excited about your plans and decided I would set up my sons phone on your service. Since you switched to your 4G/3G mix match I can now get a better plan at Koodo, which you think you would not let happen as your parent company and Koodo are related. Not sure what I am going to do now, I was hoping to get the plan with 90 day, province wide, texting and 2GB data for $120. I see it no longer exists and I'd have to take a significant drop in data speed and still pay more, so I will have to take my chances elsewhere.

Check out zoomer. 2gb 500 mins and a phone 40.5$ promo ends 31 july

As you are discovering PM does NOT plan to be the best deal for every user. Try to find a suitable month-month plan so you can easily catch a promo. Assume you mean 6 GB per 90 days? If 500 min of calling would suffice check out Fido and PC Mobile.

Good luck.

The zoomer deal is attractive, but just keep in mind that it is a two year term, but you do get a phone with the plan.

If two year contracts and a phone really aren't your thing. The smaller 3 have smaller promos going on, but you get $10/month for the first 6 months. These ones are month to month, so no contract

@jjlwork I had signed up literally 3 days before these new pricing structures came into effect.  I was really lucky.  But if I had missed it I would have had the exact same thought as you.  I can only imagine how many more potential customers they could have had if they didn't change the pricing structure.  If they later decide to force existing customers who have the previous plans to migrate into one of the new plans, then I'm definitely going to have to rethink my options.

Agreed, it's a step backwards. 😕

I think we can all agree that the new pricing is unfortunate (to put it mildly).  This thread doesn't really add anything to the dozens already in the community.
