New 3G Plan Idea

Bring back the ancient and incredibly popular $90 per 90 for 1GB data plan as a 3G promo offering.

It was for years your most popular option and bringing it back to market would push new subs onto the 3G only plans.

Clever, @kav2001c!  Given the bonus data amount currently on offer, I think PM was thinking of these "3G" plans as a way of offering up larger data buckets without getting super duper expensive.  (In theory.)  But yes they could also be used to revive the $90/90 plan.  Interesting concept, I bet it would be popular!  🙂

@kav2001c I've called this out to @Jeremy_M in hopes that PM may consider offering this up.  I do think it's a great idea.  I have no idea if anything will come of it or not, but time will tell.  Cheers!

@srlawren it seems like a good idea to me since those who are satisfied with slower data are those who do not really need huge data buckets

This would be a way to check email, gps or whatever social app and really does not cost Public anything (plus chance for Public to upsell later on when they get a shiny new smartphone)

Specially, at this time of BACK TO SCHOOL, and availability of sim card at nearby Walmart, it could be a winner plan. I suggest 1.5 Gig data at 3G instead of 1 Gig.

Wow finally an idea that makes sense. The 90 for 90 1 gb idea is great. It's too bad you guys weren't running PM's marketing.

@srlawren since this idea is basically completed now it should be updated

$90 for 90 days, unlimited talk, text, and 1.5GB of 3G data (I was only asking for 1 but they even did better)

@kav2001c sure, that's a great idea!  Unfortunately, the oracles have pretty much zero extra abilities in the Public Lab, meaning I'm not able to change the status for you.  Let's tag @Jeremy_M in the hopes that he can mark it completed next week.  🙂
