When creating a new PM account and during the step of selecting a new phone number, the dropdowns do not work on Google Chrome on macOS. I ended up switching browsers to use Safari to make it work, but I'm sure a lot of new customers won't know to do this and PM may end up losing new customers as a result.

I think thats a Mac problem, and not a PM problem. Works fine on windows on chrome.

I'm sure new users use a mix of Windows/Mac machines and when setting up a new account PM should reduce all chances of form error otherwise it will block new users from successfully activating SIMs and creating new numbers.

depends really. It could be a PM problem, but different software play different with apps (browsers, ect). Where i work, the websites we need to access work far better on a windows machine, than a Mac. Infact because im one of few people in the office with a windows laptop, mine is the one always being used for those tasks

Browser compatibility issues are well understood by Public Mobile.  Not sure why they haven't put greater resources to fixing it.

The activation site worked correctly for me with Chrome 59 on Windows a few weeks ago, but I have seen cases in the past with it not displaying page elements properly in the past.

If you're using an ad-blocker, ensure that *.publicmobile.ca is allowed / whitelisted. Otherwise certain JavaScript elements are prevented from being loaded which in turn breaks the activation portal.

I am having the same problem with Chrome on MacOS on the MAIN PLAN page; none of the plan selector buttons highlight and/or activate.

Though I use an older version (v49.x) I see that this is not the root cause. I have tried with and without adblockers, with all add-ons turned off; same result.

It works fine with Firefox, again an old version, v 48.x (because I am on an older version of Mac OS that cannot support newer browser versions).

Is this something that will be addressed?

Note that use of the community, and even some areas of the PM website work ok.
