Family plans

I think there needs to be an option to have multiple phone lines in one account.. this is the easiest way to gain new customer as existing happy customers would naturally try and add a family member to Public Mobile if it was easy to do.  

Shared data plans can also be offered.  People can perhaps comment below and tell us what they like to see in a family plan.

I sure hope there's an option not to do that as well, because I don't want someone to hog the data pool either.

@deltatux, thank you for sharing the link.  Yes, that sounds similar but I wasn't aware of that particular post.  

Your needs are unique to yourself.  I know many folks who happily share data on a family plan without issues.  I just felt the need for some more family-oriented plan options added to the current list of amazing plan choices.

Hi Shared plan is a good idea, but normally not offered by the subsidary company like Public Mobile.  Only the big 3 like Telus, Bell and Rogers have the share plan, and the subsidary like Fido, Virgin and Koodo do not offer.  I think all big 3 company want to have the prestiage status, and charge higher price, and the subsidary company targets the niche market and offer cheaper plan for reduced service.  But at least, one email account for multiple SIM cards make the customer easier to manage the accounts, while Public Mobile can differentiate the market with Telus.

Good point @vrance, and yes.. lots of us are saying that there should be an ability to add more than one phone line to one email address.

@imm1304, that issue isn't unique to me as I know lots of friends whose siblings eat up all their data in their data pool leaving them with barely anything.

Regardless, my point is that if data sharing is introduced, it should only be done so as an option because there are going to be people like me who would rather silo our data so that other lines on the account cannot hog the data pool.

@deltatux, option is precisely what I am clearly suggesting as an idea.  Such sharing plans are never meant to be mandatory and I would be all for the flexibility to choose what best fits your need.  I hear you, having multiple phone numbers under one PM account seems to be more convenient to you.

Yes I like the idea of sharing data as an option. Definitely multiple lines under one email should be there
