Add account info (phone number) to commuinity profile, visble only to mods

Is there anyway to add some additional fields to the community profile that will allow users to add their account details ie phone number (that only mods could see)

Doing this will allow a moderator, when tagged, to view  the posters additional info and give them the info they need to access the persons account instantly, rather than asking the poster for their account info then waiting for a reply.

The current  "proper method"  seems to have a couple extra steps, (waiting for mod to acknowledge issue and  ask for a private message with account details and then wait for member to log back in and reply with details, then wait for mod to receive and work on issue.   It's extra time which when there is an issue could be saved.

It might not work for members who are posting on behalf of a secondary account however.

The issue with what you're suggesting is this is a public forum. Private and personal information should not be shared with anyone but the moderators. While it would be possible to make such information available only to staff members, it still puts the information in an accessible form online, which can be a security risk if not handled properly.

It is a great idea in theory, but there are many variables to consider. I suppose one could attach an account to their forum profile, but again that poses security risks. These security risks could easily turn into a liability problem for PM.

I was suggesting adding phone number so only mods could see it(not public), in hopes there could be improved speed. I'm not a security expert, so not sure if I am off base, but doesn't Private messaging one of the moderators your tel number amount to the same if not increased security risk? 

The two systems, I believe are seperate, and hopefully people are not using the same password for the two. I believe that would be an increased risk, rather than a phone number or account number  to link the two and reduce teh number of times the mods write "please send me you phone number" in a private message.
