Can not make any calls

Anytime I try to make a local call I am told I need a long distance add on to complete the call. Pease help!!

If you haven't run out of minutes then just manually dial the 10 digit number with a plus sign in front of it followed by 1. Example: +1-AAA-BBB-CCCC

Yes...it just does that if you don't put a 1 in front of the number. Almost everyone has Canada wide minutes so no calls are long distance they're just in Canada .
