Hello,
Just purchased a Samsung A12 before I discovered Public Mobile. Does anyone know if it will become compatible with time, or is it now, but the list just not updated?
Thanks!

A12 is a good entry level phone. Of course it won't be as good as those top of the line phones out there, which could cost 6 or 7 times more, but it is one of the best entry level phone on the market now. You will love it.

@Roulade generally speaking, any phones found on Samsung.ca will work on any Canadian carriers now, but the phone has to be a Canadian or North American version
this is A12 on Samsung Canada

the fact that Koodo is selling this phone too confirms that this phone will work on Telus network, which PM uses

A phone does not have to be to be in the compatibility list to work. No list of this nature will ever be complete. The compatibility check feature is meant as a guide only.

Thank you. Does anyone know others with the Samsung A12 who are using Public Mobile without problem (and no, wasn't purchased overseas)?

That compatibility list is not always up to date.
It actually does not look that great according to this:
https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/CA/samsung-galaxy-a12
Always good to check whether a phone will work with any provider, especially Public Mobile. Use more than one source to be sure.
https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/CA
Look for these features:
- 3G: WCDMA 2 and 5 bands makes the phone compatible, which is needed for phone calls, and can also be used for text messaging and data.
- LTE can be used for text messaging and data.
EDIT: do you know someone with Public Mobile? It would be good to test all the features with their SIM inside your phone.

yes Samsung A12 would work here without issue. Its is sold in Canada and Koodo has it too. (unless you got yours from overseas, then have to check thr exact variant)
