Hello all,
Was wondering if anyone else has a Light Phone II in Canada, specifically BC. I'm not receiving text messages, but I can call and send messages on my phone. Any help would be awesome. Thanks!

You can call out and send texts out. Can you receive any incoming calls?
Did you port you number to PM recently?
If yes and over 2 days, your port is stuck. Create a moderator support ticket for help using the ? button at the right side bottom corner of this page.

The Light Phone II bands are compatible for Public Mobile.
Agree to try the sim in a Telus, Virgin, or Bell phone to test the messaging to rule out an issue with public.
you are also try the lost phone toggle in self serve. Cycle that and then power down and turn on your phone again.

You could verify that the issue isn't originating from the sim card by inserting it in regular unlocked phone and seeing if you can receive messages.

I saw a Reddit post asking if it works with Public Mobile and it certainly does. Are you able to factory reset it? Is this the North American or International variant?

Yeah, that was the first thing I read. There's no number for me to call to ask about the CDMA-less status, so I think I'll just try and re-insert the SIM.

The closest thing I found online about not receiving texts was this, but I don't think this will help unless there is a Public Mobile equivalent of "CDMA-less status". Do you have another active sim that you can test in your Light Phone II, that isn't Freedom, Videotron, SaskTel, Fido or Rogers to test receiving messages. This is a weird phone to begin with, so there isn't much you can tinker with on your end other than reinsert the sim and hope it works.
