With regard to the Nokia Lumina 820, please take note of the following:
1: the 824 sub-model will function on PM's 3G and 4G LTE network,
2: the 825 sub-model will operate only on 3G,
3: the 826 sub-model will operate only on 3G

For your information, Telus bought Public Mobile.

You can purchase a new locked phone from Telus (online only) and it will work flawlessly on Public Mobile without having to unlock it.

OR

Staples, Best buy, Costco, Walmart or other small cellullar stores.

3G UMTS/HSPA (850MHz/1900MHz)

4G LTE Band 4 = AWS 2100/1700MHz

4G LTE-Advanced = 700MHz (not yet launched by Telus/Bell)
