my husband cell didn't transfer from bell after I put the card in and replied to their message with Yes. Is his phone not compatible? Its an IPhone 6sPlus

Yes it still did work and had service with Bell when I removed the PM sim card and replaced it with the Bell simcard the next day. I inserted the card again and still nothing. I also powered down the phone twice before I posted the question.
I reactivated his phone with Bell and will try to sign my 16e cellphone in a few days to see how that goes.

hi @janes_keith
your Bell still has sevice?
It could be an incomplete port. PM porting support team can help. I have sent you the porting support team number. Please check your Community inbox (https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/privatenotespage), check for the number and call

I let it sit for three days and still didn't get service. My husband's cellphone is a 6s plus and still didn't work or connect. I didn't rush to transfer number, I waited for the message from Bell and then waited for another day before trying to connect, also I didn't complain at any point during this set up time. If we were all knowledgeable as you. Please just scroll by my questions.

Even if phone is Not on PM approved phones list it might and most likely it WILL work with PM service.
My phone is not on a list (S10) but works perfectly.
Best way to test is to find PM customer and try his/her SIM in your phone to confirm it will work as expected.
Do NOT do any porting until compatibility is confirmed. I cannot understand WHY people rush to transfer number before service is established and then complain if something does not work as expected...
Get service first, get temp number and THEN port your number to PM.

@janes_keith You said his phone didn't transfer over from Bell. So does his phone still work with Bell? He has services? You inserted the Public Mobile SIM card in his phone and nothing is working? No data, texts, callings? Restart the phone.
If you put back the Bell card in the phone what happens? Check with Bell customer service and based on what they say you can contact PM support.

hi @janes_keith iPhone 6 is still compatible with PM. Just it is a bit old and it will still use 3G for voice. If you want more stable voice service, you need iPhone 8 and above for VoLTE support

@janes_keith You would need iPhone 8 and up to have best possible service with public mobile . The iPhone 6 is not on the public mobile voLTE whitelist and you might have trouble with voice calls but text and data should work .
