I'm trying to set up an account and use my old cellphone number and this is what comes up:
We were unable to transfer the phone number you entered. Try one of the following options:
- Make sure you entered your number correctly.
- Select a new number.
- Contact the Public Mobile Community for further assistance.
Can I get some help on what to do!

if porting, only use the account number(make sure this is the correct number. there shouldn't be any letters, just numbers) and pin(voicemail password) from the previous provider
anytime you're proceeding to the next page and its loading keep moving your mouse curser so the system doesn't hang. do this till the next page loads.
when registering your credit card use all capital letters
don't forget to keep moving your mouse curser especially at this point of the activation process.
if you're lucky enough to make it to the summary, then insert your sim card, restart your phone and reset your network settings.

I am currently with Bell Mobility. I just sent an email to the Moderator and asked them to help me. I still have my cellphone active with Bell so I'll wait until they get back to me to change over. I don't want to be without a cellphone lol

@Swansetta are you trying to port from PC mobile or Koodo prepaid? You can't port at activation from any of these 2 providers. You have to activate with a temporary cell phone number and contact the moderators and ask them to port your number for you.
If this is the case, wait 50 minutes from last attempt, clear your browser history, go to private/ incognito mode and try again to activate your SIM card. Welcome to PM. Stay safe.
