I cant update via the cell phone hardware via the *611. I don't even know who i am writing to...another end-user or someone who has the ability and capability to reset my password so I will be conservative on sharing my cell number and credit card expiry date...please help. thank you.

You are writing in a public forum with other customers like yourself. So, do not give any personal information here.
It can be confusing with your self service account versus community forum member account. Have you created a self service account before? If you signed up online, you would have automatically created one. If you signed up in store, you will need to creat one afterwards.
If you created one and forgot your password, have you tried to reset your password:
https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/forgot-password/
If unable to access account, then you will need to contact moderator. Expect 1-2 day response time.
Send a private message to moderator through the following link :

f you need to pay immediately due to suspended account, you could either buy a voucher in store or online (via recharge.com - service fee applies). Then you can use voucher by dialing 611. At least, then your service is active.

To update or remove your credit or Visa debit card details, sign in to Self-Serve. Once signed in, click on the ‘Payment’ tab, then scroll to the bottom of the page and select ‘Manage my card’. Here, you will have the option to either select ‘Replace this card’, where you can enter the details for your new card, or ‘Remove this card’. You will need to review and confirm this change to your account and then you’re all set..Remember, accepted credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and Visa Debit cards that have been issued by Canadian or American financial institutions and are associated with addresses in Canada or the U.S. If you are using a payment card, leave the apartment/suite number in the payment information section blank.
