unable to transfer number request

not sure why public mobile is holding my number hostage, cant transfer my number out of public mobile.

provided new vendor account name, account number and phone number but public mobile just keeps failing to transfer out.

New provider says that my name doesn't match the number but it matches exactly my account name in my public mobile profile.

its been a pain since i joined, every step of the way has been a problem and getting support has been impossible

finally took 3 days but finally got public mobile support to help, not sure what they did but they did something on my end and now it magically works.

joined public mobile in march this year and I have never had a good day with them

community support is useless, actual support is useless, service quality is useless, service map is useless.

public mobile is worse than when wind mobile first started out.

i love it, new provider getting an error from public mobile and public mobile saying they havent recieved any request to port out.

 

support going in circles in public mobile. i hate this support model so much

PM won't purposely hold up your transfer out request

Make sure your PM account is active and you can still receive incoming calls and text
Then call your new provider and ask them to re-trigger the porting request.
Wait another hour or two and you should receive the Porting Authorization Text from shortcode 4799 or 4800

If still not receive the text from PM asking you to approve the porting,  please open ticket with PM support using this direct link:  https://urlshortner.tiia.ai/Lc9xk8

Make sure that you respond to this text within 90 minutes. If you do not receive this SMS or you do not respond within the 90 minute window, make up to 4 additional attempts to send it. If you are still experiencing any difficulties, reach out to a Customer Support Agent
