unable to connect to Public MObile network

I was using Pubic Mobile Network Sim card and it was working but since I bought a new phone and put this Sim card in my new phone,  I was not able to connect to Public MObile network. 

I try adding the Public Mobile APN manually and it won't let me add.

Can someone help me to resolve this?

It sounds like your phone is locked. You need to contact the seller and find out what carrier they were on then have the carrier unlock it for you.

Let us know what your new phone and old phone are and perhaps we can help further.   Definitely an issue with the new phone given that your SIM works on the old phone.

@akPubMob  - seems device related if the SIM worked in a previous phone.

 

If the phone is not blacklisted, then is it an older phone possibly locked to its previous provider?

 

Contact the previous provider to unlock it for you. You will need your imei number, dial *#06# to get it.

@akPubMob what brand and model is the phone?

 

and where you bought the phone from? was it from a trusted source?  For peace of mind, please check if the phone is clean here
