@Dana6   See the instructions towards the middle of this page.  You will need to use the app.

for eSIM, you need to use the app , not the browser

Install the app on the device you want the esim installed

on the app, to go Subscription & Add-ons , click the Buy new sim button at the very bottom and you can buy there.

thank you. Not sure how to purchase a new eSim on the PM app. I tried in my account on the desktop and i get the option under AddOns to buy a new eSim. However, when i select it, it sends me to the PM app. In the app however, i don't have the Addons to buy a eSIM? thoughts?

@Dana6   If you're not sure what kind of sim you have, when did you sign up with Public Mobile?  E-sims are new this year so if it was before they were introduced it would indicate a physical sim card.  As @computergeek541 said, if it's an e-sim they are not transferrable and you'll need to buy a new one. If it is a physical sim card then you just take it out of the old phone and put it in the new one then restart the phone.
