hi @garwood

did you move from Telus to PM.  Check if your Telus sim card still there and remove it.  If Telus' is an eSIM, disable it

Then Reboot phone and Reset Network Settings.  Go back and confirm if PM is now the only sim there.  Make sure it is set as Primary and Enabled (or turn on this line is toggled)

@garwood

if you successfully activated new Public Mobile account, try a network reset to see if that clears it up.

Hey @garwood

Are you using an iPhone or Android? What phone is it?

If it's an iPhone, do the following.

Go to Settings > Messages>Turn off iMessage.
Go to General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Once the iPhone is open.
Go to Settings > Messages>Turn ON iMessage.
This will recognize the new sim and have it verified.

you still have the old Telus sim card or esim there.  Remove or delete them.  Then reboot phone and Reset network settings
