Hi I am a new subscriber to Public Mobile. I am having issues with sending and receiving text messages from certain people from my contact list some of these people have android phones. Please help

@Wanda-6484 Another thing to try, go into Settings then Messages and check that Send and Receive both have your phone number checked there and not just email address/es. If it's not that, yesterday and the day before there was a problem with SMS in Telus/Koodo/Public Mobile, they were working on a fix but I have no clue whether it is working again, it wasn't affecting everyone.

@Wanda-6484 - So you are on iPhone? MMS and SMS are currently what "Apple" uses to message Android.
Please make sure to have send as SMS and MMS enabled in Settings > Messages.

Do you have an iphone or android phone? What about talk (incoming and outgoing)? Data service?
Might want to try a reboot of your phone (if not done already). Network reset of phone (note: this will erase any saved wifi passwords).
