no I've been using 33333* with Koodo and that is on the bus sign - if I use just 33333  (no *) -it works

I'm using google messages and tried samsung messages, cleared cache, rebooted phone - same error msg, and I have a balance on my account - I can use the translink telephone system but text is more convenient.  And I wonder what other short codes might not work - cbc, forest fire.....?

@Cbf

33333 is a short code PM supports

we tested ourselves and it worked

But  @RudyG  had the same issue yesterday, not sure if Rudy got it resolved yet:

Since it worked for many of us, it could be just a device issue or temporary network issue

If you are on Android, please start with clear mesaging app cache.  And if that does not help, Google Message is a good alternate choice of messaging app
