text message from my own phone number

I received a text message from my own phone number that asked me to call it (a linked phone number), which I did, and the call went to the last number I had called. Is this a scam? has my account been breached? If so, is there anything I can do? Thanks -

phone numbers are easily spoofed. I would ignore whatever instructions it gave.

@mgs, it is hard to say.  I think phone numbers can be spoofed.  You can use a different phone and call yourself to see if your phone number is what you think it is.
