I activated Public Mobile for my son yesterday. He is not receiving any texts from me. Also, my calls to him are going straight to voicemail. He is on the $15 plan.

@dianeellsworth Ideas:
a) What is make/model of his phone? If iPhone have him turn off iMessages & Facetime then turn on afer a few minutes.
b) Try calling his number again immediately after the first fails. If successful, suggests he has call blocking activated.
c) Have him send you a text and reply directly to it.

If you chose a new number, something went wrong with actvatino process. Maybe try re-booting the phone.
Also, try the SIM card in another unlocked phone to determine whether hardware issue versus PM service problem.
If activation issue, likely need to contact moderator.

@dianeellsworth, did you issue a number port from a different carrier when you activated? Usually an incomplete port results in inability to receive text and calls. That said, if a port was initiated, it should have completed by now.
