@bananna If you're moving your phone number to another provider, don't cancel your Public Mobile account, it must be active to port a number and will automatically close once the transfer is complete. If you close it first you may lose your number.

To cancel a subscription just activated if the system will allow, slide the Manage Subscription button to off. If it will not allow you to do so, click on the link below and send a message directly to Public Mobile customer service agent and ask them to cancel and remove your credit card details from file.

@bananna if you go into your Public Mobile account (app or web browser) you can go to the Payments tab and then click on "Manage Subscription" and then toggle off where it says "Subscribed"
Note that if your account remains unpaid for 90 days that is when the account will be closed off and you will lose your cell number for good. It's probably not a bad idea to contact a support agent and ask them to remove your credit card from the account that way they won't be accidentally billing you afterwards which has happened to some
You will need to open a ticket through the Chatbot:
https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
(and then type: Customer Support Agent)
Or, if you are having trouble with the Chatbot try sending a private message to:

(note: you will need to be logged into your Community account for this link to work)
