spam text and calls

I am getting 10-15 spam messages and calls all from the same 3 companies. i block and report and they just spool a new number and send me the same automated call or spam message, how do I stop them

You can download the Truecaller app to help minimize the spam calls.

I used to get 10 or 15 a day also...here's what I do and only get a half dozen per month... I just don't answer a call unless I recognize the caller number. If it's a legit call, they can leave a message and you can call back if you wish. Once the bad guys know you answer all calls...well...you know what happens.

this is something that no one has a perfect solution, no carrier can stop it.  

Public Mobile does not have call screening, so you will need to use your phone's feature Silent Unknow Callers.  It requires you to setup all your friends on your phone's contact list and those not on the list will be sent to voicemail

but if your just got this phone number lately, you might want to choose another phone number, pick from a newer area code will help a bit
