There are few sellers on Craiglist giving them away free in Vancouver and Fraser Valley. Take the free one and when the one arrives in the mail use it as a spare or for a referral or a family member or friend.

Been taking 3, 4 or more weeks for delivery lately.

Get a sim at Walmart.

edit...these guys promise FAST delivery and if you happen to be near their business, you can make arrangements for pick up...

Canadian Cell Supplies use Canada Post for shipping, so they can't possibly make any guarantees about delivery time.

I'd also suggest that new customers wiating for SIM cards to simply wait for them to arrive. I the current state of affairs, I do not believe any recommendations should be given to customers to go to a store for purchasing a SIM card or setting up service at the store.  If a SIM card arrives later than originally expected, there's always going to be some other promotion for new customers some time during the road.  I can understand if a SIM card has been lost and needs to be replaced or vouchers are the only possible way that someone can pay for the service to keep the service going, but if someone otherwise still has cell phone service (even if it's at another brand because they haven't swtiched to Public yet), these are unnecessary trips to the store.

@olla1942 , deliveries seemed to heavily backlogged.  Public Mobile made an official announcement about this.  I would stay patient, the order will arrive.

@olla1942...

make sure to ask a friend or family member with a PM account for their Referal Code. Use it when you activate and you'll get a $10 credit to your account and they get $1 off their plan costs every time it renews, for as long as yours stays active.

Good deal, huh !!

Welcome to PM. 😷

@olla1942 Just as well. Lots of retailers sell them and will sell you one without forcing you to activate with them.

@olla1942 SIm cards are shipped from Mississauga area I believe. Expect major delays meaning a few more weeks probably. Better off going to a local retailer that sells sim cards and pick one up. Use the ordered for a spare or for your first referral. Welcome to PM.
