@farter

try both of these two things:

  • put the Sim card in another device to test SIM
  • use another working SIM card in your new phone to test phone

@farter   your phone should work on PM

First, check devicecheck site and let us know if the phone is clean

If clean, try a reboot and the Reset All network settings to see if it works

@farter  first , check if your phone is clean or blacklisted

Also, tell us what brand and model is your phone

it's a brand new phone, came with a notice that i might have to manually input the APN, but it would not respond and greyed out the mobile network setting

@farter  The APN will only affect your data, won't affect connection or voice

Where you got the new phone from?  please check if your phone is clean here:

@farter

What happens when you dial *611?

Can you try the SIM card in a different device?

 Also, try resetting network connections and rebooting device with SIM card in it.
