  1. You want to activate a new service with Public Mobile using an eSIM, with an eSIM compatible device (phone)?
  2. You want to import (port in) your existing telephone number, currently active with another provider?

If these are your questions, the answers are:

  1. Yes, you can activate a new subscription with Public Mobile using an eSIM, provided your phone is eSIM compatible
  2. Yes, you can transfer your existing telephone number from another provider (with few exceptions)

If your phone supports eSIM and a SIM card, there's no reason why you can't.

That are some reason for this to possibly not work.  Public Mobile's system might not properly recognze the eSIM nubmer.  There's also the possibility that that a specific device isn't compatible with Public Mobile's netowrk.
