I keep getting "you don't have a long distance add-on" while calling a local number, plus I have Canada-wide calling minutes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@Chiko If you have in fact run out minutes, you can add 500 Canada wide minutes for $5 which will not expire and stay on yor account until used up! Works out to 1 penny a minute, pretty good deal !

@Chiko What plan are you on? If you are on one of the limited minutes plan then it's possible you are just out of outgoing minutes and would need to purchase the $5/500 Canada wide minutes to supplement the minutes which are only used when you're out of plan minutes and the rest stay with your account until used up. Log into your account and if the minutes line is missing from the overview page, under 'My Data & Add-ons', then the minutes have been consumed.
Otherwise adding the +1 in front of the numbers you are calling should work, as suggested earlier.

@Chiko- what plan are you on? Do you have unlimited minutes? If you are on the 15$ plan, you miht have run out of minutes. If you ARE on the $15 plan, log into your self serve account, and check usage, you should see the number of minutes used. If you see no minute status (ex: 45 / 100), then you are out of minutes. If that is the case, you can buy a long distance ad-on, which will allow you to make canada wide calls.

@Chiko If the you're trying a number with a "1" in the front of the 10 digits, try that same number without that extra digit, or, conversely, if it doesn't have a "1", try it with, and see what happens.
