I'm using an iPhone 11 and transferring from a physical sim with a different provider with an e-sim from Public Mobile. In the process of adding the eSim, I accidentally closed out of the prompts regarding my eSim installation. Under "Cellular" it said the eSim was installing, then after several minutes, told me installation failed. I tried to scan the QR code multiple times but it kept telling me "Unable to activate eSim". At this point, I restarted my iPhone which did not help the issue. I then deleted the eSim altogether and tried to add it with the QR code again, but I am still getting the same error message. I replied "yes" to the text from my previous cellular provider so I don't have any cell service at all until this is resolved. Does anybody know how to fix this?

My girlfriend tried to purchase the eSim when she was considering on moving to PM. She has the iPhone 13 Max and with her IMEI, PM wouldn't recognize the phone so she opted for a physical sim lol

@sctk You will have to rebuy the eSIM from the app . If you deleted the eSIM from phone . Best to call around to local Telus Koodo store to pick up a physical sim and avoid eSIM for just this sort of reason or if you ever want to change phones again you will have to rebuy esim . With physical sim you just swap it out . Then get support to someway the number for you. To finished the activation
submit ticket with support . using the chat bubble bottom right of screen
If that doesn’t work you can always send private message to support .

@sctk - Since you technically deleted it once, you have to contact CS_Agent for a new e-sim.
EDIT: That is somewhat of the fascinating thing about PM, instant activation but when deleted or get a new phone, user has to get a new SIM. You can get a physical SIM card for $4.99 at amazon or at your local Telus / Koodo / Mobile Clinic store.
