Hi,

I just bought a phone from Public Mobile, which I should get in about 10 days. I also bought a sim card with it. I now need to buy a public mobile plan when I get the phone and the sim card . I could not get the plan until I bought the phone. So I guess I'll  be able to get the plan once I get the phone and sim card, which I'll have to activate first? The robot does not answer that kind of question and and I can't get help from Public Mobile... Please help! Tx JP

Main component of PM service is PM SIM card. You cannot do anything without it!

Thus, when you receive PM SIM head up to PM main page and click on Activate

then follow prompts and pages.

Do it Slowly not to make mistake particularly when entering credit card info. It has to be Exactly as on statement; ignore apartment number (if any) and do not include space in postal code.

You need the SIM card number to activate the SIM, pick a plan and create a new account.

If you are not porting an old number to PM and picking a new number, just power off the phone first before place the SIM in the phone then power it on and you should be good and ready to go.

you bought a phone device from Public Mobile is will be coming device plus one SIM card.
you can't activated new account with out SIM card, just waiting for the device arrive, then activated. in here prepaid serivce for 30 day.

if you acitviate new account and not have any device to use it you losing money, and no refurn money.

Yes, you can buy the sim card from telus store and koodo store if you want not to wait for the shipping.  Once you get the sim card, you can activate.  But of course, you need a phone to test it.  You can put it in another compatible phone if you have one.

But if you don't have one, or if you don't want to buy another sim card from store, you will need to wait for the shipment to come.  once you have the sim card and phone, you can activate
