Hi I just left my Rogers account after 20 years. port it over to PM, now i can make outgoing call ,but incoming call goes to my Rogers VM directly.
any reason? and it seems that I got 3G only, any limitation / throttling on PM?
Thanks.

Try this: go to the settings of your phone and then general-profile and make sure that there is no existing profile, if there is a profile then please delete it.
See if this works? If not, sorry.

ok..
once done and still on 3g then you will be able to see all apn settings as seen in my post... and now you can enter them manually .... but with my 5s it took all setting automatically ... mind mine is locked to telus network which might made a difference....

thanks updating now.

i use and iphone 5s as well ( i have 3 lines ) and mine is on lte.....you probably do not run the latest ios 10.3 or so... if you have ios 8.something then you need to update the iphone first to support lte ...after the update you should instantly see lte/4g....

it's iphone 5s. thanks.

what model phone are you trying to use with PM? might be one which does not support frequency on Telus/Koodo/PC/Public LTE ..... if you ever see 4G that will be fine as 4G is the same as LTE so to speak... but if you are in a great area you should really see LTE+ / 4Ga ( for advanced )

OK. popped the SIM in my iphone 6s. - LTE right away..
not sure what happened. so i guess this is a phone specific issue... can this be resolved? thanks

aha.. that would be the wrong setting for your APN ... assuming you use android it is ( don't forget to delete telus one and restart after you saved the new one !):
Name: Mobile Internet ( alternatively you can type Public Mobile )
APN: sp.mb.com
Proxy: Not set
Port: Not set
Username: Not set
Password: Not set
Server: Not set
MMSC:http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
MMS proxy: 74.49.0.18
MMS port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 220
Authentication type: Not set
APN type: default,mms,agps,supl,fota,hipri ( my samsung s7edge actualy says here internet+mms )
APN protocol: IPv4
APN roaming protocol: IPv4
APN enable/disable: APN enabled
Bearer: Unspecified
MVNO type: GID
MVNO value: 4D4F

what's the correct APN setting? i have isp.telus.com, even tried isp.mb.com. and it's stuckat 3G not matter how many times i reboot or toggle the cellular data / iphone 5s here.

hi..
you should have LTE if not LTE+ as PM operates on the telus LTE network..... if you don't get LTE/4G on your display to show, then most likely your APN setting are wrong...
cheers

thanks. turned out it worked fine few min after my post. issue resolved.
i have bell / Rogers/ fido at my home. everything is LTE except this PM phone... very weird on this part

hi..
your porting has not been fully completed....you must conatct / private message one of the mods tomorrow if this issue hasn't resolved itself by then..they are back tomorrow 9am eastern
data: no, PM does not throttle down speed as others would do.... check you apn settings and restart phone... that usually resolves the data issue... sometimes you ahve to manually input the APN setting after deleting the rogers one...... @Shazia_K

@ricky13579 How long has it been since you ported out. My friend just ported to PM from Bell and outgoing calls came faster than outgoing, but all was good withing 30-45 minutes. give it some more time. also try rebooting your phone.
