hi am trying to get a hold of public mobile as i need help activating a new account using a voucher please contact me

It is confirmed that customers can NO LONGER setup a new account/subscribe with voucher, PM CS_agents are unable to help with subscription using voucher as well.
When advising community members, please remember only credit cards, debit cards and prepaid credit cards are the only form of payment methods for new subscriptions. Vouchers can only be used for renewal and addon purchases after the account is setup.

So it looks like it's a case by case thing. Public Mobile allows it to happen, but for whatever reason, the agents refuses to use the voucher to activate the account.
Looks like the as new customers they have to insist and escalate for it to happen which is really disappointing.

You said the two words right there that say it all... Community Members. These community members are not employees of Public Mobile. No representative from Public Mobile has shared if it can or can not be done. So you keep sharing this information. I have no stake in Public Mobile. 🙂

there is no option on the activation portal for using voucher. They used to have it and they removed it
There was a short time that support agent can help with that but they stopped doing it, it is official. Couple community members have told you a fact but you just refuse to accept it

With all due respect, this has never ever been proven. It was told at one point that Public Mobile can open an account with a zero balance and it was up to the customer to add the voucher. Until we actually here from Public Mobile on this issue, we should not be making these claims since none of us here are employees of the company. It is up to the customer to contact customer service to get help.

Public Mobile is a self serve service. There are no phone numbers to call. Everything is done over these forums.
The Public Mobile chatbot is currently unable to create trackable tickets for members who are unable to log in. So for this reason, please use the following link to contact customer service.
