Hi everyone!
Hope someone here can help me with this issue. I changed my public mobile number to a new number. Was able to do that with SelfServe. The page showed successful message.
Now I don't know how long it is required to complete the number changing but it's been nearly an hour and my new number is still "not in service". Should I keep waiting for a little longer or is there something wrong here?
Thanks,
vipul

I don't know if you tried or not, but please restart your phone.
I had the same issue when I ported my number. I restared my phone after waiting half a day and it worked right away.

If you choose a new number and you can no longer use your phone, it happens rarely but you cannot do anything to fix it. Only moderators can fix this.

@vipul In some rare occasions a number that shows as available was incorrectly added in to PM's pool of numbers. Sounds like you may have selected one of those numbers. Best to see if you can select a new number. If you can't then submit a ticket to PM.

While you are waiting for moderator, adding $1 will trigger PM server to provision your account again. If this does not work, continue to wait for moderator to fix your account.

@vipulDid you choose a new number from public mobile, or did you port in / transfer a number from another service provider?
If you chose a new number it is instant, turn off your phone, wait 5 mins and turn it back on and should be working. If not you will need assistance from the moderators by creating a support ticket. You can click this link https://publicmobile.ca.ada.support/chat/ then enter “contact support” Follow the messages to get to the bottom where it has a Contact Us button and then a Submit Ticket Click Me! button will appear.
The Moderators are available (Eastern) Monday to Friday 8am-12am and Saturday+Sunday from 8am-10pm.

If you ported / transfered a number in, let us know I will have different answers for you.
