My phone will all of a sudden mid day today no make or receive calls or texts. tried restarting.

Have you tried your SIM card in a different phone?

@Callieejmitchel does the phone connect to PM network? Try Reset all networks first

and check My Account to confirm account still active 

and check if any service outage in your area
