Hello, I just switched over yesterday. Today I was unable to make phone calls and when I text, the receiver sees my email address instead of my contact name and number. I would also like to change my profile username - but have been unsuccessful with that as well 😞

That's not text messaging. It's a phone software thing. It's not anything to do with Public Mobile.

If you are using 3rd party app all kind of stuff could occur.
Use NATIVE texting app and everything will work just file. 'Fruit' company is the worse...
As for username, you can open a ticket and ask agent but it might not be possible. Agent will advise appropriately.

for your friend seeing your email and not your number or name, check your iMessage setting and see if the phone number is there. If already there, remove it first, Reboot, and put it back in
for the profile username, if you meant the Community name ( @Tnfriars ) you need to ask support agent to change it for you.
