I have a public mobile account now, if I buy a new phone can I just switch sim & memory cards then new phone will be ready to go?

You will need to make sure it is unlocked and uses the following bands.
4G LTE and LTE Advanced
700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1900 MHz and 2100 MHz downlink and 1700 MHz uplink (AWS)
HSPA
850 MHz and 1900 MHz (UMTS)
Also if you are using data then you may need to key the APN settings.

@4silverback - Your new phone will need to be comnpatible with the Public Mobile network, and must be unlocked.
Use willMyPhoneWork.net to check if compatible with network
If you have an existing number with another cell service (or other service), you would need to transfer that over.
