My previous phone # has been ported over from Virgin Canada but when I insert the PM SIM card the notice comes up "network locked sim card inserted". This is a Samsung Galaxy S5 Geo that was used on another network prior to Virgin.

Hi you need to contact the original provider who sold the phone to you.
By law, they are required to help you unlock it at no charge even though you are no longer their customer.

@Bea_Peters you either need to contact Virgin for the unlock code or message Samsung.ca for the code! Were you with bell before? Bell/Virgin /lucky are all the same
