I kind of think ordering extra sims that your're not going to use circumvents why PM is charging $5/ sim to avoid wasted unsued sims.
In a non high peak time like this new deal 1- 2 day shipping for a new sim is great (especially for how often anyone would lose just a sim).

@computergeek541 I dunno - how often do people lose their sim cards? In the 15-20 years that I've been using phones with SIM cards, I've never lost one and don't know anybody who has. That would be overkill for the vast majority of people.

Even though it would cost an extra $5, i think that anyone ordering a sim card for new activation would be wise to order an extra one, just for situations such as this. The lack of physical retail locations necessitates the need for an extra sim card so that one does not have to wait for a replacement to be shipped.
