I am in Hawaii. Voice and SMS roaming work, but mobile data does not . I am using an iPhone XR with a Public Mobile eSIM. iOS does not show Cellular Data Options, Data Roaming, or Network Selection. I've been advised i need to tell Public Mobile to refresh my U.S. roaming data. But i seem to have no way of requesting this as a fix. Anyone know of a solution?

when i'm in the cellular data page, i have (top to bottom) List, Primary (with my ph. number) and blue checkmark to the right of it, and below that (greyed out ie non clickable) inactive physical. This is an old physical sim which i'm no longer using but left in the phone. The in another field below, also greyed out is 'Allow Cellular Data Switching' and an inoperable toggle to the right of it

try this:
Settings, then Cellular (or Mobile Data) , and on the next screen tap on the number you want to turn on data roaming
if you don't see it, can you screenshot and post here?

hi @RickyDee100
enable mobile roaming on an iPhone, go to Settings, then Cellular (or Mobile Data) , and Cellular Data Options, then turn on the Data Roaming switch
next, change the network carrier, Settings , then Cellular/Mobile Data then, Network Selection, turn off the "Automatic" toggle and wait for networks to load. You should see AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. Click on each one and try

when i follow this path when i get to cellular data, it is on my 'primary' my number with a blue check. no other options

Hello @RickyDee100
I have the XR as well. When I went to the US last, I went into Settings, Cellular, I turned on Cellular Data, then clicked on Network Selection and turned off Automatic. Waited for AT&T and T-Mobile to show up, picked T-Mobile, then scrolled down to Data Roaming and turned it on. I rebooted the phone and I was up and running.

try a network reset then make sure Roaming is enabled. If you need to get Customer Support involved, click the orange chat bubble on lower right side of the page to start the process.
adding...if that fail, use this link to dm Customer Support with your request...
