reactivate my account that was deactivated when his visa card expired. He re-set his visa and his phone works but mine does not. Cannot access mine as he had the only account and mine was piggybacked on his. I just now setup this account as he has been unable to get anywhere with reactivation of mine.

This problem used to occur quite commonly when customers would activate using the same email address (although technically it should not have been possible.)

To get your service up and running you can pay using a Public Mobile payment voucher from a retailer. No PIN # is required to load/redeem a voucher via 611 on your phone or calling 1 855 4PUBLIC and entering your 10 digit phone #.

However some vouchers can take up to 24 hours to be valid and redeemable. It's advisable when purchasing a Public Mobile voucher instore to ensure you recieve both the voucher and the reciept. Check that it is a Public Mobile voucher and not one for Telus, Koodo or Petrocan or others that a clerk may have mistakenly printed out. Try and call 611 in-store immediately after purchase in case of any validity issues or other problems that can be raised with a manager. The following retailers have been trued and tested to have PM vouchers immediately valid upon purchase:

    Shoppers Drug Mart (SDM)
    Shell Stations
    Esso/Mobil*
    Circle K
    7/11
    London Drugs

*Mobil stations and Canadian Tire gas bars also offer "Instant Top-ups" or Real Time Payments (RTR). You tell the clerk your provider (PM) and your 10 digit phone # and the $$ and it's instantly added to your account and will reactivate your plan/account as long as the $$ amount added equals or exceeds your plan amount and/or your account is not suspended via lost/stolen. The usual fee is $1 for these types of payments at the retail level.

There are several online retailers that sell vouchers and RTR payments. The most reasonable is muskbird.com. They have a 10% surcharge on the payment amount paid via credit card or PayPal. Interac or e-transfers will only incur a 0.03% surcharge. (On $10 that's $0.03 vs $1.)

After creating your account with muskbird.com payment vouchers are sent to your email about 5 minutes after purchase. (Minimum voucher amount=$5).

Real Time Payments (choose Public Mobile-RTR) are nearly instantaneously added to your account after purchase and will reactivate suspended accounts (as above). Minimum RTR amount=$10.

If you know all of the other info about your account you can contact customer support to set up your account with the same details you used to set up your current community account and eversafe ID. Have your friend nearby to help with verifying your "hidden" account if needed.

you must have a different email login as all account on PM are independent, no family account

you can try to use Forgot Login and Pm will send an email to the correct email.  Of course, you will have to check all your email

if you still cannot find out what email login, you need PM to help.  You wont be able to submit proper Chatbot ticket at this stage, so, use private message instead.  Message them here:

Accounts cannot be 'piggyback'. Each account is unique having unique email and phone number. There is no way to have one account with 2 numbers or emails.

Each separate account CAN be paid by the same credit card, though.
