Hi There , I switched from lucky to public for my daughter smart watch
Kids Smart Watch for Boys Girls, Smart Watch for Kids with Phone Need 2G SIM to Call
everything went good , public mobile subscription is active , no lucky mobile account anymore , she can receive calls , texting but when she tries to call no active mobile network available, can someone help , if public does not support this kind of electronics ,can you reverse the transfer ? Thank you

It sounds like it is this device
Reading the reviews, there are negative comments about the phone part in the critical reviews. Interestingly the sales blurb suggested using a sim from either Fido or Public Mobile. I wonder if this was written before the 2G networks were shut down? But that still doesn't explain how it apparently partially works despite there being no 2G.

As the phone number transfer was outhorized, it isn't reversable. As for needing a 2G SIM card, there's no such thing. All Public Mobile SIM card work on all available networks. Also, 2G netowrk aren't used anywhere int he country (and increasingly fewer places worldwide).
As for the device, this isn't a compatibility issue. Being able to receive phone calls means that the device can also make outgoing calls. This also means that the device isn't limited to only 2G networks.

no 2G with PM now. You'll have to initiate port to new provider yourself.
